Culinary Experiment

This weekend Buzz and I rented V for Vendetta, a very good movie. After watching the movie, we were inspired to try something new. In two of the scenes, eggs in a basket were made. I don't think I've ever seen eggs in a basket. This morning, Buzz got up and decided that for breakfast we would have some.

So here's what he did. Two pieces of bread were toasted and then the center of the toast was cut out. Next over the stove, he fried the toast in butter and broke an egg into the whole.

Surprisingly, it turned out to be quite edible and very good! Of course I love toast and fried eggs...what was not to love?

Garage Sale

While home at this month, Buzz and I finally got to have that garage sale that we've wanted to do for months now. We had various pieces of furniture, kitchen stuff, household decorations, knick knacks (because who doesn't have a tons of those!), old VHS tapes, and plenty of junk. But our junk became treasures to the many people who came to our garage sale!

We didn't get a picture of everything we put out first thing in the morning, but here's what we had left mid-afternoon.

Plus our reward!

Buzz appreciating all of the hard work it took to set up the second garage sale.

And the bonus of our clean out, the front room now resembles a dining room instead of a closet.

A trip to the Zoo

This past Sunday, Buzz and I headed to the zoo in town. Buzz had been to the zoo twice before, but I had never been. Now, it's not the biggest zoo. From the entrance to the exit, you walk about 1 1/4 miles, but we got to see some great animals and got some great pictures.

Buzz and the Black Bear.

The Golden Eagles.

Jumping (more like leaping) like a bullfrog!

Lemur eating a dinner of fruit.

Me, communing with nature.
